Far Ritual began in a small, open-air shelter beside a quiet stream — a space surrounded by protected wetlands, birdsong, and the rhythm of nature. It’s a place where ideas flow easily, where pieces are created slowly and with intention.
In the warmer months, this space feels like a dream.
But as the seasons shift, so does the reality of creating. Winter brings cold, limited light, and the need to move into cramped quarters indoors — a space that restricts both the creative process and the ability to grow.
The Vision
The next step for Far Ritual is to build a dedicated studio — a physical space rooted in the same intention, but designed for year-round creation, connection, and expansion.
This studio will be:
- A place to design and create crochet pieces comfortably in all seasons
- A space to offer ritual hand poke tattooing in a safe, intentional environment
- A small storefront where you can experience Far Ritual in person
- A creative sanctuary that reflects the values of slow craft, self-expression, and connection to the Earth
Giving Back to the Land
The natural world is at the heart of Far Ritual. The land that inspires this work — the forests, the wildlife and protected wetlands — is something worth honoring and protecting.
For this reason, 25% of all donations will be given to the Nature Trust of New Brunswick, supporting the preservation of ecologically significant land across the province.
